1950
1868   Mr. Shoubei Takagi founds "Yamato-ya" as a watch retail shop in Tokyo.
1950
1952   Mr. Katsuji Takagi establishes "Watch-shop Heiwado" to start import and wholesale watch business.
Agency agreements approved with Swiss "Loyal" and Swiss "Technos" respectively.
1953   Dealings with American "Waltham" start.
1956   The building for the former head office completed at Ginza, Tokyo.
1960
1960   "Queen Diamond" debuts.
Agency agreement signed with "Piaget", Switzerland.
1964   "Princess Diamond" debuts.
1970
1972   The new Head Office building completed at the present place in Tokyo to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the foundation.
1974   "Queen Jewelry" debuts.
1975   The 1st "Shuhoten" Exhibit opened.
1976   "Diamond International Award" won by "Heiwado".
"Heiwado" acquires 40% share capital of Swiss "Waltham", of which Mr. Katsuji Takagi assumes Vice President.
1978   Dealings with "Tres Belle" start.
1980
1981   100% share capital of "Waltham" acquired by "Heiwado".
1985   Dealings with "Gay Freres" start.
"The Queen", the highest-grade jewelry, debuts.
1987   Mrs. Simpson’s "MacLean Diamond" won by "Heiwado" at Sotheby’s.
Mr. Katsuji Takagi assumes President, CIBJO of Japan.
1988   Watch business starts with "Tiffany".
1989   "S-Pore (Japan)", a joint venture with Singapore Government, set up.
Watch business starts with "Pequignet" and "Bertolucci".
1990
1990   "Waltham" wins "Grand Prix Trimonphe de L’Exellence Europeenne".
Mr. Katsuji Takagi assumes Chairman of Japan Jewelry Association "Queen Jewelry" wins the Gold Prize at the "Designing Contest for ‘91" held by the World Gold Council.
1992   "Diamond International Award" won by "Heiwado" at the "Diamond Designing Contest 1992".
"Heiwado" celebrates 40th anniversary.
Mr. Tsuneo Takagi assumes Presidency of "Heiwado".
1995   Dealings with "Halcyon Days Enamels" start Watch business starts with "Chloe".
1997   Watch business starts with "Boucheron".
1998   An antenna shop "Waltham Gallery" opened at Ginza, Tokyo.
Watch business starts with "Chaumet".
"Heiwado & Co." newly set up to make a restart after reshuffled with Mr. Tsuneo Takagi resigned and Mr. Junichi Fuji assumed Presidency.
2000
2000   The 150 years history of "Waltham" introduced at "Shuhoten" Exhibition held at the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo. For commemoration of the 150th anniversary,"Lady Waltham" debuts, added to the line of "Lord Waltham".
2001   "Stefan Hafner" and "Orland Orlandini" join the new collections of "Heiwado".
2002   The 50th Anniversary of Heiwado
Ms. Setsuko Hayashi assumes Presidency of "Heiwado".
2003   Dealings with Italian jewelry "Calgaro" and Swiss Watch "BLU" start.
Ginza "Carosello" design jewelry boutique opens.
2004   The Head Office temporarily moves to Akasaka for the building reconstruction.
The 30th Anniversary of Shuhoten Exhibition.
Select boutique "The Carat" opens in Ginza Kojun Building.
2005   Fiji pearl brand 'Marama' and dealing with Fiji pearl starts.
Dealings with Italian jewelry brand 'Paolo Piovan' and Korean jewelry brand 'Angevin' start.
2006   Dealing with diamond jewelry brand 'Lady Heart' starts.
Seoul Jewelry Fair held in Seoul,Korea.
